Episode Summary iEcclesia continues with the third of a four part special from last season on In Vitro Fertilization. In the previous episodes, the panel discussed how the Orthodox Church defines life and what it thinks about IVF, what the process of IVF is and the ethical implications surrounding the procedure.
On today's episode, the panel discuss the most known complications of In Vitro Fertilization including multiple births, premature birth and birth defects. Also, some people have been known to freeze their embryos for future use; the ethical and moral implications are tackled. Next, the issue of eugenics or the self-direction of human evolution and how it can affect society as well as the other moral issues and their ramifications. This episode places the focus on a humble, thoughtful, clear and prayerful desire to see God's will done.
